Prime Minister receives Saudi Arabia State Minister for African Affairs

GIS - 21 September, 2018: The Minister of State for African Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Ahmed Bin Abdulaziz Kattan, paid a courtesy call yesterday on the Prime Minister, Minister of Home Affairs, External Communications and National Development Unit and Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Mr Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, at the New Treasury Building in Port Louis.
Ahmed bin Abdulaziz is a member of House of Saud who served as deputy minister of interior of Saudi Arabia from 1975 to 2012 and briefly as minister of interior in 2012.
He joined the diplomatic corps at the Saudi Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 1978, before being sent to the Saudi embassy in London where he served as a diplomat from 1982 to 1983.  He was appointed to join the Saudi diplomatic mission in Washington, U.S. where he held many diplomatic posts in the United States from 1984 until he returned to Cairo in 2005.
