Three Police Officers receive commendation letters from Prime Minister

GIS 31 May 2018: Three Police Officers received letters of commendation from the Prime Minister, Minister of Home Affairs, External Communications and National Development Unit and Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Mr. Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, this afternoon, at the New Treasury Building in Port Louis.
The three Police Officers, namely constables P. Adhun, C. Pydugadu, and Sergeant R. K. Huzooree of Roche Bois Police Station helped a lady deliver twin baby boys at the Station on 28 May 2018.
In a statement, the Police Officers underlined that the meeting with the Prime Minister was cordial and that the latter congratulated them for their action and encouraged them to continue to set the example for other officers of the Mauritius Police Force. They also underscored that it is the responsibility of Police Officers to set the good example and provide assistance to the population in any situation.
